Gold Star Tree Topper

The star goes on last, and it is the moment the tree is finished. This open gold star keeps things classic, its scrolled frame catching the light rather than blocking it. The topper is formed from gold-finished metal wire bent into a five-pointed star, with an open frame and decorative scrollwork curled within each point. A coiled spring fitting at the base slides over the leading shoot of the tree and grips it, holding the star upright. It suits a full-size or tabletop tree and works with almost any scheme, from traditional red and gold to a simple green tree with warm white lights. Light enough not to bend the top branch, it stores flat and returns each Christmas. A few details worth noting: • Open five-pointed gold star topper • Metal wire frame with scrollwork detail • Coiled spring fitting for the treetop • Lightweight, suits full-size or tabletop trees
